Inner Alchemy refers to the Kundalini Kriyas, practices of Inner Yoga and the Bandha locks that are a foundation of this knowledge. Being a student of the Yogic and tantric path for close to 40 years and also carrying this esoteric knowledge on to my own students over the years, I have experienced these inner Yogic tools as extremely powerful way of transmuting energy and matter. MoolaBandha (base lock) is a basic activation tool for creating strength in the muscles and nerve bundles of the body (cervix for women and perineum for men), that when practised over time can nourish and replenish the body, providing a good foundation for holding and cultivating inner strength. This piece speaks to the energetic process of metabolising the universal meta and harmonic sinewave flow rippling out to the Ouroboros snake eating its own tail, which signifies the constant cosmological cyclical and spiralic patten of the universe, and in this case forming an Orphic egg shape, pointing toward the mysteries of the primordial soul birthing all things bound and infinite. The beautiful blue and green hues in this painting are healing and calming.
