HAEKEM GALLERY PRESENTS :  Exhibition Finissage for

Melissa Artemis Shemanna & Orryelle Bascule-Defenestrate

Silken Tofu presents:

Final chance to see at Haekem the large Mythoneiric paintings of Melissa Artemis Shemanna, and the paintings, sculptures (wood, bronze, clay) and drawings of Orryelle.

For the Finissage of this exhibition we will experience performances by experimental musician Philippe Calaveri, and RinOrrcius (RINus frequencies, ORRyelle voice violin & butoh dance, LuCIUS theremin & samples) with special guests Peter Geysels (flutes) & Peter DeKoning (drums)
Orryelle will also present some extracts from his film-work.

Philippe Cavaleri's work explores the relationship between body, space & time, how they interact & affect each other ...
His sounds experiments led him to deepen the physical effects of sound, taken out of any traditional musical context and narrativity. He uses home made sound generators, turntables (with & without records), field recordings made during his travels

With members from Wallonia, Flanders & Brussels, RinOrrcius' improvisations range from (and merge) neoclassical to experimental electronica
For this their sixth performance, they will be joined by special guests Peter Geysels (flutes) and Peter DeKoning of TraumaSutra (percussion)

His books, tarot, prints and jewellery will also be available.
